Al is one of the original founding members of the legendary group Foreigner. Born and raised in New York City, he attended Brooklyn Conservatory of Music where he studied music composition, arrangement, and orchestration. He quickly established himself as an in-demand keyboard and synthesizer studio musician in New York. This led to a meeting with Mick Jones and on to the formation of Foreigner. As the keyboardist in Foreigner, he has contributed to the songwriting for a group that has sold over 80 million albums worldwide. He is also a Grammy nominated artist with over 70 songwriting credits for a varied list of artists ranging from Deep Purple to Fiona
Al has scored documentaries for PBS and the History Channel and has become the composer of choice for corporate branding. His original compositions can be heard on Pandora and Spotify and can be purchased on iTunes. He is also the owner and founder of AIR Music - a multi-media production company.
